NCBW

The National Center for the Biotechnology Workforce (NCBW) has strong ties to national bioscience workforce development dating back to 2005. It has led several federally funded Bioscience workforce initiatives. The NCBW work focuses on capacity building, best practice and skills standard generation.

Between 2012 - 2016, the NCBW became the operational site for the Community College Consortium for the Biosciences Credentials (c³bc) initiative, funded by the US DOL under a round two Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College & Career Training (TAACCCT) grant.
