Research for the Public Good.

Our vision is to become a source of scientific discovery for sustainable methods, devices, and concepts that can be implemented where they are most needed. We do this by performing project-specific work, funded by organizations and individuals, with the expectation of sharing the results with everyone.

The Frölich Institute was founded on the principle that many discoveries are better shared than secreted away. We secure grants and donations to perform scientific research with the primary purpose of then sharing the results with the world through education and implementation.  

We are building an affiliate network of sustainability professionals and service organizations to assist in this mission. Our initial focus is on sustainable technologies. Although originally targeting the needs of East Africa, the applicability of the solutions we were working on were shown to be needed worldwide.

The Institute is here to help make this world a better place for everyone. We all are.  When we each use our personal strengths for the betterment of humanity, we are directly responsible for adding to the advancement of civilization. That's why we are all here.
